PUMP HIRE was started twelve years ago when it
was perceived that there was an opening in the market place for
larger diesel driven pumps which could handle a wide variety of
products from water to slurry and sewage. Another consideration
at the time was that as far as the pump rental scene was concerned
what was available in the market for rent was old and not as versatile
or as efficient as modern equipment.
Of recent times PUMP HIRE has expanded the range
size and type of pumps within its fleet to accommodate growing customer
requirements, a pattern which will continue as the business continues
to expand.
We envisage that in future, to better serve our
customers throughout the country, we will open depots or appoint
agencies in other strategic locations there being stock of equipment
available for rent held at these locations.
The principal of PUMP HIRE Don Smith has had over
20 years of experience in the rental industry initially working
with established businesses before starting and running his own
equipment rental business.
PUMP HIRE is a credited Site Safe operator, maintains
current St Johns first aid certificates and has OSH compliant work
place health and safety procedures and manuals as well as several
other credits essential to the industry we work in.
