Diesel Powered Self Prime Pumps, these are the 'workhorse' of the industry.
The majority of the pumps are a
'centrifugal' impeller wet-end. These provide a wider operational rang, solids handling capabilities and a wider efficiency band.
Additionally we have a range of
'positive-displacement' pumps, which work well in specific applications and are efficient within their narrow operational band.
Calculations on the energy required are more likely to provide indicative fuel burn than a simple ltrs/hr rating.
